Janet B. Gonzalez-Salas
Janet B. Gonzalez-SalasMSN, PMHNP-BC
Janet B. Gonzalez-Salas is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She is pleased to join JW Therapy, where she provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Janet believes that care begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms because no two people come into care with the same story.

For Janet, psychiatric care is about more than managing symptoms. It is about creating a space where people feel safe enough to be honest, taking the time to really listen, and working together toward where they want to go. She believes that feeling heard is often where real progress begins.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Janet works closely with therapists, primary care providers, and other members of a patient’s care team because she believes the best care happens when providers work together. She earned her Master of Health Management and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from St. Thomas University.

Janet’s goal is to connect with each patient in a way that leaves them feeling respected, informed, and supported as they work toward becoming the healthiest version of themselves.
